Koh Phangan is, like the well-known islands of Koh Samui and Koh Tao, located south in the Gulf of Thailand, more exactly in the Surat Thani region. However, many travelers do not even know the sights and activities of the island as they only come to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party.
That’s a pity, because even though Koh Phangan has a reputation as a party island, there is plenty to discover as well as beautiful beaches or viewpoints. Especially for the fantastic sunsets.
